(Edit) After 3 months, I can say this.. "Do NOT Go To This Place!!"
Even with every UA clean, and paying out of pocket, they still kept me on weekly visits! Even had me coming in TWICE a Week! They have wiped down breathalyzer tests with Alcohol wipes, thus giving EVERYONE a positive for alchohol! You also have to stay on them, because they have been known to "Forget" to call meds in..! I could go on..! This place is horrible!!!
Just had my first appointment with this place. I moved here from out of state and was already in maintenance. Had been on Subutex for 7 months. Suboxone made me so so sick which is why I was put on Subutex to begin with. They told me today they will not perscribe me Subutex despite the fact their website says they do. I told them I would give Suboxone a try again but if I get that sick again, I will have to move on. The staff were super sweet and friendly. The Dr was really nice but I felt rushed through the visit. This new change is scary. I've been so stable on my meds for so long that I'm hoping this switch doesn't take me backwards. Thank you for being so welcoming. Hopefully it will work out.
No doubt the treatment itself has saved my life but I have seen many things change over the years here. Initial visits were intimate and I felt that the providers truly cared about my treatment as they spent quality time with me each visit. They, unlike other programs in town that will reject you immediately for no good reason, have always been more receptive to listening in a non judgmental way, but over time I feel like just another number. I don't even think I've ever met my "actual" dr, it is just a revolving door of physicians and their assistants. It actually does remind me of a pill mill at times. I have been forced to visit multiple times a week in the past without good reason and can't help but wonder how much $$$ is involved in scheduling so many unnecessary visits. If you're clean you should only really be obligated to visit once a month. And while you are building your entire schedule around these numerous appointments, they show zero concern for your time and will turn you down for being minutes late but make you wait hours without pause. So while the treatment itself is so positively beneficial and transformative to so many people's lives, there are obviously many things that need to be changed here in regards to operating procedures and respecting patients time.
This place is absolutely hands down best medication assisted recovery program I've been too (and yes I've been to couple others) finding myself missing it here. Some people complain about the wait on some days, but it's gotten a lot better and seriously the kindness and level of "give a damn" in the staff makes up for it. The actual Dr.s themselves are good as well, since you see different ones randomly it's almost inevitable your gonna hit one at times that just doesn't mesh as well with your personality but that's not what they're there for, they do their jobs and we stay clean. It's all you could ask for with the comfort in knowing they're forgiving and understand mistakes always leaving you with an option.
This place has kept me off pain pills and other drugs. If it wasn't for me hearing about this place 3 years ago I probably wouldn't be here today and had my 3 amazing children I got now and have my own place again and being there for my kids because I'm sober and clean because they helped me stay clean so that way it lets me spend time with my kids an be the best mom they're ever going to have forever. Thanks Ideal Options for saving my life I get to have today!
Things have improved some. They have opened at several other locations and now appointment times are met for the most part. Don't expect to get your prescription when they say. Your supposed to get it 24 hours after your appointment but they can't seem to get it called in within 24 so plan on 48.
Absolutely loved this program, I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting and trying to get clean. I started struggling and messing up again, but instead of kicking me off the program, they worked with me to try to get me back on track. Unfortunately, I choose to stop complying and gave up my spot. But the staff we're amazing. From the Drs to the receptionist, not once I felt judged. Thank you for what you guys do, the world needs more places like this.

I an so thankful for ideal options and there wonderful staff!!:) so if your looking to change your life around and want to get clean and sober and find recovery there is hope.....
First of all, they do not take all insurances. I had to pay out of pocket for “lab work”, that never happened. I was desperate to stop using and be able to keep my job, so I went with it. Every appointment I had I saw a different doctor which was okay until my third appointment when the doctor accused me of abusing Amphetamines, which, if she read my notes, she would know I’m prescribed them for ADD. The staff was great and helpful, but after that incident, I quit the program.
There are a few doctors there that really care but a handful aren't drug addict professionals they are kidney doctors,Np or internist. It's hard to see how a non addict person can think they know best and how you sb feeling. They have their favorite patients so to stay on that side do not send a concern comment in cause they will use it against you and make you feel like you're worthless and they are the GOD'S and I'd u tell on me then watch out.
These people actually care. They ask questions to better your quality of care, not to shame you or make you feel guilty. I have never been treated in such a respectful and kind way, by any other doctors ever in my life. The front staff are fun and chipper and helpful. I do not dread going there as I have at every other place I have been to for these issues. THANKS IDEAL OPTIONS. Thanks for helping!
When I started at Ideal Options they were brand new and just beginning their journey into the crazy world of addiction recovery services. My experience with this office has been great, the front desk staff are kind and always positive, great way to start an appointment. The doctors all work hand in hand, they really do care about you, at Ideal options im not just another number, I'm a person with specific needs and they are always met. Not to mention the lab, having an actual accredited in house lab is so helpful, I am grateful for how professional this whole office is. Thank you for helping me have a second chance at life!
Very friendly people, doctors, and practitioners work together, to make sure you are getting better. If you are having trouble with an addiction and can't quit cold turkey I highly recommend going to them.
Its a great program, Nice Doctors, only trouble I have is finding a counselor in my area (Cut Bank, MT 59427) If you guys could put some Counselor in your Cut Bank MT Facilities. Other Addiction Counselors are OverBooked from all of the State Required Porolees. Thank you for reading. I hope to see one here soon
I went to Ideal Options today, the 24th of January 2017. From the very beginning it was kind of troublesome because they couldn't seem to verify my health insurance ( their main offices are in Washington) so it took them almost a month to finally figure out that I did have health insurance. I was scheduled for an appointment today at 2 p.m. and they told me to be there 45 minutes early. I arrived and not only was there a sign on the door saying they are closed till 2, there were police there because apparently someone had tried to break in. I wait in the car for 45 minutes and finally went in and paid $300. I filled out 20 pages of paperwork making sure I did read everything prior to signing. (They couldn't have sent this in the mail prior to my appointment?) So by now its 2:30 and they want a urine sample (which can be observed) which is fine by me because I have been sober for 3 years. I give them the urine sample, they take blood and your blood pressure and then pass you off to the telemedicine doctors over in Washington. This is where things went terribly wrong. Nowhere in the paperwork was this stated and no one that I spoke to in the entirerty of the time trying to make an appointment told me... but if you are on medication that they deem is too high of a dosage and / or not conducive to their program, they will NOT prescribe to you. I am on 2 medications that they felt were not safe to prescribe in conjunction with suboxone. Also, they wanted me to leave the provider I was getting that medication from and have them be the sole prescribers of any and all medication I would take. These are people I will never meet, people who don't know my story... They expected me to just relent and resign all my prescriptions and medical care to them. WHAT A JOKE. This is the medication regimen I have been on for 10-plus years and I know it works. Even if I had been prescribed Suboxone, I would not have been able to fill it that day because they e-scribe ( which can take 24 hours not to mention they have to get the pre-authorization with your pharmaceutical insurance). If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is... DO NOT EXPECT TO GET MEDICINE THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. IF YOU ARE IN OPIATE WITHDRAWAL, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT-if they even choose to help you. I left with none of my money refunded, not even $5... also the two doctors who founded ideal options have financial investments in the laboratory where your blood and urine will be sent. Pretty shady to me. Community Medical Services CAN work with your insurance to reimburse you, not Medicaid but they are working on that. It may be expensive but it is the superior choice over this hole in the wall, uncoordinated joke of a medical practice! STAY AWAY FROM IDEAL OPTIONS!!!!!!!!!
